Our Story
Georgina Foundation is a living dream of an extraordinary young girl,
Georgina Magesa, whose compassion and determination are already changing
lives. By the age of eleven, Georgina had written five books, proof of her love for
reading and storytelling. But her greatest gift is her heart shaped by watching her
mother care for those the world often forgets: the sick, the poor, and children living
on the streets. From her, Georgina learned that every child deserves dignity, love,
and the chance to reach their fullest potential.
In 2022, while visiting her grandfather’s village in Mara Region, Georgina saw children walking long distances to school under a scorching sun, classrooms without books, and young ones carrying heavy buckets of water, yet still yearning to learn. She could not turn away. Every afternoon, she gathered children under a tree, teaching them letters, numbers, and stories, and showing them how planting trees was as vital as planting hope. In their laughter, she discovered not just a need, but a calling.
